What can I say!  I'm am SO in love with that wonderful gentleman we all have come to know and love as Professor Hershel Layton!  I'm super bummed that the series is coming to an end with our awesome 'Professah' leaving his position as lead character.  I'm assuming that any future games might be lead by his apprentice, Luke Triton, or by his ward, Flora Reinhold.  They could also continue spin offs with Emmy Altava, the Professor's assistant, or perhaps his son, Alfendi Layton (who is seen in the iOS game Layton Brothers: Mystery Room.)

In any case, they DEFINITELY don't bring enough Layton Love stateside (totally an ungentlemanly move there, Level-5, leaving all these extra mini games and books in Japan), so I must deal with what I can get my hands on over here.

The game follows Lucy Baker, a beginning detective who is transferred to Scotland Yard. Here, she works under Alfendi Layton, son of the renowned Professor Hershel Layton. Together, they investigate crimes for Scotland Yard's "Mystery Room".
    The game was released as a freemium game: the game itself and the first 2 cases (and prologue) are free, while two additional packs of respectively 4 and 3 cases can be bought from within the app.
