Growing up in the 90s meant sticker collections. Although I could boast about an impressive sticker collection of my youth, sadly none of them were Zelda-related. That doesn't mean they didn't exist. There are actually quite a few large sets of Zelda stickers that I have been able to find over the years. I'm putting my Temporary Tattoos in this section as well because (let's face it) temporary tattoos are stickers for you body that made you feel way more bad-ass then you should feel.
My Zelda stickers and temporary tattoos will be loosely categorized and will be listed from oldest to newest in each category.

Topps - Nintendo Game Packs Trading Card Set

- Released As: Blind Packs with 3 Scratch Off Cards and 2 Stickers
- Country of Origin: United States
- Manufacturer: TOPPS
- Year: 1989
- Other Info: This set actually preceeds the O-Pee-Chee Nintendo Game Pack Trading Cards set and is considered Series 1. As with most of the Topps/O-Pee-Chee Nintendo line, a majority of the game tips do not match the characters/game logos on their opposite, sticker sides.
- Other than referencing Zelda & Zelda 2, this set also features:
- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Double Dragon
- Punch Out!
- Soccer
- This is also located in my Cards section.
O-Pee-Chee- Nintendo Game Packs Trading Card Set

Information
- Game Title: The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: Adventure of Link
- Set: 4 Wrapper Variations, 33 Stickers, 37 Scratch-Off Game Cards
- Released As: Blind Packs with 3 Scratch Off Cards and 1 Sticker
- Country of Origin: Canada
- Manufacturer: O-Pee-Chee
- Year: 1989
- Other Info: This set is actually a continuation of the Topps Nintendo Game Pack Trading Cards set and is considered Series 2 from the packaging. As with most of the Topps/O-Pee-Chee Nintendo line, a majority of the game tips do not match the characters/game logos on their opposite, sticker sides. The numbering sequence for the stickers actually starts at #34, picking up after the 33 stickers featured in the first Topps line.
- Other than referencing Zelda & Zelda 2, this set also features:
- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Metroid
- Double Dragon
- Punch Out!
- Soccer
- This is also located in my Cards section.
Super Mario Bros. Sticker Cards Bubble with Top Secret Tips! Gum (English & German Sets)

Information
- Game Title: The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- Set: 64 Stickers
- Released As: Blind Pack Stickers with Bubble Gum
- Country of Origin: Ireland
- Manufacturer: TOPPS Ireland Ltd. (Topps UK)
- Year: 1990
- Other Info: Unlike other Topps Nintendo Cards, this particular set is a mess and clearly never had quality control. (Example: Card #1 shows the game title of Punch-Out but the hint is for The Legend of Zelda.) Interestingly the German printing of this set is less egregious in it's errors. I'm assuming that the person in charge of this print may not have had English as a first language (since the German set is pretty ok) or they simply had no knowledge of the video games referenced. Most of the art and some of the tips were repurposed from Topps and O-Pee-Chee sets, so why they weren't just directly lifted and reused for the entire set is unclear.
- This particular set doesn't have a lot documented about it online. One of the only other mentions of it that I've found have been on https://www.facebook.com/vgconsoleguide/ and their upcoming book "The Definitive Guide to Video Game Trading Cards."
- Unlike it's predecessors, this printing is diminutive in size in comparison. While the North American sets came in at 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, this European set comes in at a slightly smaller 2 1/8 x 3 inches.
- The sticker art for the German set is identical to the English, even keeping all of the text in English.
- Games featured other than Zelda & Zelda 2 are:
- Super Mario Bros
- Super Mario Bros 2
- Punch Out!
- Double Dragon
- Metroid
- The German set also featured these titles:
- Solomon's Key
- Castlevania 2
- Goonies II
- Xevious
- Soccer
- Ikari Warriors
- Trojan
- Gradius
- Rygar
- Mega Man
- Rad Racer
- Tetris
- Rush'n Attack
- Star Force
- Robowarrior
- Metal Gear
- Pro Wrestling
- Top Gun
- Pinball
- Zection Z
- Tiger Heli
- Ice Hockey
- Excitebike
- This is also located in my Stickers section.
