Recently I did an interview with Ryan (Game Essays) for his channel.  We talk about our love for the Zelda series as well as how to get into collecting.  I even show off two newer items I just added to my collection as well!

HEY!  LISTEN!  It's been a minute! (...Or a year... or more.)  Holy Hylia, 2020 was like an alternate reality on a Majora's Mask kind of trip or something!  How did I cope?  I bought a TON of Zelda goodies from Japan!  Thing was, the import company (Buyee.jp - Not a sponsor) wouldn't ship anything outside of Japan because of the shut down.  (Big surprise with a global pandemic.)  BUT they were willing to wave holding fees indefinitely until shipping options opened back up.  That gave me a YEAR AND A HALF to hunt for Japanese Zelda goodies that we hardly see here in the States and stockpile my treasures in some poor warehouse in Japan until the time had come.  AND THAT DAY IS NOW!

After FOUR shipping crates and unholy shipping fees (even with shipping consolidation) I definitely got what I paid for!  I am so happy with the entire experience and everything I was able to purchase throughout what seemed like a never ending nightmare during 2020.  I'll try my best to get everything photographed and added here on the site.  It's been a little overwhelming with what still needs to get posted so I've been trying to share a pic a day from my collection over on my Instagram!  (If you don't follow me over there - you should!  https://www.instagram.com/linksliltri4ce/)

Last year EnterPLAY released their new Zelda trading cards... but there was something missing.  The Dogtags.  When the set was first announced there was a buzz about a dogtag line coming out as well.  After the set was released we also heard about a potential Breath of the Wild expansion to the trading cards.  Ladies and gentlemen, here they are:

This is just a little post about the great Zelda swag my awesome friends and family gave me this year.  I received a wooden Master Sword and sheath (great for cons), a metal Dark Link Master Sword and Hylian Crest wall plaque, two Ocarina of Time t-shirts, a Wind Waker t-shirt, some sweet Hylian Crest fingerless gloves, and the Club Nintendo Majora's Mask Soundtrack (which arrived on Christmas Eve, so I'll count it as a Christmas gift from Nintendo!) ;)

Well, back to making more rad Zelda arts and crafts for The Legend of Cosplay.  I'll hopefully post more updates for the rest of the collection here before the end of the winter break.
