After the rumors of a Zelda-based trading card game started circulating last October it would only be a matter of time that gaming distributors would start posting pre-orders for its speculated 2016 release for the 30th Zelda Anniversary. Today I spotted on AGD Retailer Services this A Link Between Worlds Playmat by Ultra-Pro and EnterPLAY (The same company that made the Twilight Princess Trading Cards.) Upon further inspection I found a Majora's Mask Playmat on EnterPLAY's site as well. No news on any of the trading cards themselves, the sleeves, the dogtags, or the collector tins, but it's good to see some more items pop up! Sources: Ultra-Pro, EnterPLAY, and Zelda Informer

I don't normally purchase non-official Zelda merch or fan art (mostly because I make enough of it on my own- someone message me if you want an led fairy or a plushie! -shameless self-promotion) BUT THESE WERE TOO AWESOME TO NOT BUY!!! But holy crap these are beautiful! They have a "smooth" sandstone finish which feels more like fine sandpaper and without knowing any better they look fuzzy or felted, haha. Anywho, you can find these guys on shapeways.com.
(If only Young Link were the MM model rather than OoT, but you can only tell the difference when you see the face of the shield.) There is SO much new Legend of Zelda merchandise hitting the shelves in North America it makes me cry happy tears! The World of Nintendo line keeps pumping out lovely Zelda goodness and I'M even having trouble keeping up!!! So here's some links I found from ToyWiz on some upcoming Zelda merch to keep you eyes peeled for:
New picture update! Kind of... I've been slowly adding more and more to the site, but never posting an official update. I recently picked up some new, amazing display cases from IKEA (the Detolf ones - try them!) and since I already had to remove all of my stuff from my old display I thought I'd try to catch up on backlogged Zelda goodies! Many of the newer posts still need their history info, but I'll get to that at another point. I'm also waiting on a few acrylic shelves to better organize my new display, so I'm slowly working on that as well. *Sigh - One day it will be done and beautiful!* This will probably be the laggiest, lag-laggerson lagging blog I'll ever put up on here (hopefully!) There are so many pictures that I've added since my last official update that I'm sure it will take quite some time to load! That being said, I am not going to list nor link every item I updated as well like I have done in the past. All of the updates will be in the slideshow below - so feel free to make it a scavenger hunt to find everything on the site! ;) Anywho, Enjoy! BUYERS BEWARE! THIS IS A FAKE EBAY AUCTION!!!! Some moron is using MY PICTURE to supposedly sell "their" Majora's Mask figures!!!!! I'm asking the guy some baited questions, like if the damn collection is even his, since I linked him my website with that same image. Dumb idiot... Can't pull something on this Zelda collector... >:| http://www.ebay.com/itm/201074785492 And here's MY link for the exact same image on my website: http://linksliltri4cezeldacollection.weebly.com/majoras-mask-action-figures-prototype.html This listing is a fake. I am not selling these figures nor did I give permission to this user to utilize my image. Please spread the word!!! **EDIT** Well, he is claiming they are his... just lovely. **Edit 5-7-14**
Bad news, I'm afraid. The eBay auction that was posted a few weeks ago using my image of the Majora's Mask Figures was indeed fake. The unfortunate "winner" of the auction had contacted me about it on my deviantArt journal about the whole situation. Here's his message: "Baron-Von-Jello: Wow I wish I saw this before I bought them...I've fallen victim to this scam. So get this---I buy the figures and they ship immediately. I get a message a few days later with some sob story about how they "accidentally shipped me a present for their sister and shipped the figures to her." A slight mix up, but they assured me they'd ship the figures to me as soon as the "sister" returned the package. Days pass and their (accidental) package arrives. I promptly return it to the post office, ship it back, and wait for my package. 2 weeks pass and no figures. The seller believes she "goofed something up on the address"....yea I'm not kidding. You "goofed up" going back to print shipping label, buying a new one, and hitting print? Really? So I immediately file a claim on Ebay. Scamm er doesn't even bother waiting the 3 grace days Ebay gives you after a case is opened, and refunds all my money. It should clear by Wednesday, and when it does I'm going to leave negative feedback with a link to this journal post (if you don't mind.) Honestly I didn't get the impression I was being scammed. I thought it might have been a young kid starting out on Ebay---on account of one item sold and receiving good feedback from a long-time Ebay user in their history. They communicated well and seemed genuinely concerned something was up. Not to mention they refunded my money without hesitation. I'm glad I got my money back, but holy shit what a scumbag. Linksliltri4ce: Man, I'm so sorry to hear that. I was hoping the seller was just a lazy piece of crap who just tried to find a stock image rather than take a pic of their own figures. (Which you're not suppose to do anyways, technically...) I tried to spread the word about this as much as I could to hopefully prevent the ordeal you had to go through. I had this posted here, on my Zelda Collection website, my tumblr, Twitter, Facebook.... I even had the help of a couple Zelda and Gaming communities out there trying to help get eBay to remove the auction before it was too late. I honestly have that seller saved on my eBay profile and I've been checking in from time to time looking for a negative feedback. :\ By all means, please do feel free to link the feedback to this journal. Hopefully it will help instill the concept to losers like that seller that the internet has helped make the world a much smaller place and that claiming other things as your own for financial gain will not be tolerated. Again, I'm sorry I didn't get this message sent out far enough for you to see it in time. Fingers crossed that the refund comes through and that you can at least take solace knowing that many members in the Zelda and Gaming communities, including myself, have your back and will try to help in any way that we can." **EDIT 5-15-14** I am happy to report that the victim of fraudulent Majora's Mask figures scam has finally received a full refund!!! After several phone calls to eBay and after providing evidence of of the seller's sham (including my post about it), he was finally given his refund. Supposedly he was told that eBay will be contacting the member themselves, but so far the seller is mostly unaffected. They have not banned him, and unfortunately he has an even more expensive listing up for auction right now. (This item which he originally posted in the $230ish range is now in the $1300 neighborhood for his Buy-It-Now.) ...A price increase that miraculously appeared after the victim posted negative feedback (and after the seller bought another random item to re-increase his feedback score.) Sighs.... A least the refund was granted. Still, buyers beware of this seller! http://www.ebay.com/usr/aklng2014 I wanted to take more pictures for my Zelda Collection website and wouldn't you know it?! My camera dies.
So here's my Zelda Armory, minus my W.I.P. Kokiri Blade from OoT and my newest edition from a little awesome place called www.fiberglassblades.com that is waiting to come home to me!!! New picture update! I've added a mixed bag of random Zelda goodness that I've been able to photograph from my collection. Still LOTS more to upload, but I thought I'd post the update. A lot of the items posted still need their history info, but I'll get to that at another point. Enjoy! Video Games:
New picture update! I've added a good portion of (at least cover pictures) of most of my strategy guides, comics/mangas, and miscellaneous Zelda books. I'll be uploading more scans of artwork, articles, and the such in the future. I'll also post links for the ones that already have digital scans online so that you may enjoy the books yourself! Enjoy! Strategy Guides:
